Five days home from Rosendal in the middle of July, on a trip taken because the forecast at the head of the fjord said 26 °C and the open coast said 16 °C and a lot of wind. A guest quay already full by three in the afternoon, a Swedish classic with a teak table in it, two cloudless days, one morning with no horizon at all — and an engine that ran for nearly all of it, which the log is honest about and so is this.
